The Newquay and District Fundraising Group for Marie Curie in Cornwall met at The Atlantic Hotel for their AGM on Wednesday 20 March.
The group have been very busy fundraising over the year and have organised daffodil collections, serviced collection tins, held a Blooming Great Tea Party, a Classic Car and Country Fayre at Trewithen Gardens and a Fire Walk. Since forming the group have now raised an impressive £64,011.85 which will be enough money to fund 3,200 hours of local nursing care in the community.
